If it is to remove an defect or an abnormality to restore what was normal, this is permissible. However, this would only apply to the effected area and not to other normal areas!

I have been clearly told by multiple doctors that there is no medicine for the problem I have and I have been suffering from my illnesses for more than a year which has affected me seriously.i have been referred to speech therapy but I have been told it might aggravate the problem or might not produce any result at all.but homeopathic medicine has the solution which is proven.but it contains very large amount of alcohol please tell me does it qualify as a “necessity” which allows me to take such medicine?
