Is it an act of virtue to stay satisfied with low quality stuffs or should one try to look for good qualities, I mean for clothes,foods,furniture etc. Which is better?

Anas narrated that Allah’s Messenger (SAW), would breathe three times while drinking. (Al-Bukhari and Muslim). What does this mean, Sheikh. Are we not supposed to blow inside or breathe into while drinking??
