I am a Muslim male. I respect my mother so much but a few days back she told me that she had talked to her brother about getting his daughter married to me. When I said I don’t want to marry her, everyone stopped talking to me and started cursing me, saying that I will never get success. In this situation, what should I do? I really don’t want to marry her. How do I explain this to my mother?

I am a 2nd wife. I have a 1-year-old daughter. My husband’s parents don’t want to keep any relation with me or my daughter. They never visit us nor allow us to visit them because I am the 2nd wife. When I tell my husband that his parents are guilty of severing ties of kinship, he always says that they have not cut off the relationship so they are not sinful. Are they guilty or not? Please guide.
