Friday ghusul is an issue of dispute among scholars.

Women are not obliged to do it as they are not obliged to attend the prayer.

The most authentic opinion is that it is recommended for men but not obligatory.

Is it compulsory for a mature Muslim to perform the ghusl on Friday’s ? What if a lady is menstruating on that day?
