ANSWER:

There’s no problem in saving and wanting to gain wealth as long as it’s done in a halal way and you pay the due zakat, however this must not overtake your life and religious commitments. You must strike a balance between deen and dunya while giving priority to deen. 

Is collecting/saving money is bad what does our Islam says about it? I want to know your thoughts on: 1. Collecting/saving money to fulfil desires(eg: buying a book, which is in my case because I love reading and to gain knowledge or for eg: planning to buy a car) 2. Collecting/saving money for future purpose or emergency use 3.Is it okay to collect money to spend it in the way of Allah(SWT).
