There is no specific time. The inheritance must be divided immediately after settling all debts.

Is any particular duration preferred for the distribution of the inheritance after death – 3 days, 40 days etc?

If the property of a deceased person is divided amongst heirs much much after their demise & one of his daughters passes away (such that she passes away much after the passing away of parents), will her share go her heirs? Or will they not have any share? Seems unfair if they can’t esp if she dies much after the death of her parents & if the bros didn’t give her share to her while she was alive.

My father has a property. he is alive but mentally unstable to make decisions due to the brain stroke he had. It was decided to divide the property to avoid the rift between the siblings.
