Is a person sinful for breaking the fast(Voluntary) intentionally,without any genuine reason? If yes,Is there any expiation for that?

I have the intention to fast all 9 days of dhil hijjah (and I don’t have to make up any day from ramadan or kafara) ..it is recommended for me to skip saturday and begin again with sunday?
