You won’t be rewarded for reading the Quran when you read the translation only as this is not the Quran!

The Quran is what is written in Arabic. This is the Word of Allah.

I’m not fluent in arabic, i cannot understand it and so I prefer to understand Quran in english on the side while reading in arabic. Is it permissible to read the english translation only? Will it have the same rewards?
