It appears that what you have done is permissible though it was better if you continued your fast and prayed for them as instructed by our Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam.

I’m fasting prophet Dawood fast, today was the day for it,but my family invite me and to dinner and i was confuse wht to do..in final i break the fast in their house..I make wrong?And tomorow wht i must do..i must fast or not?
