There is no recommendation in fasting Rajab and you must not fast Friday or Saturday alone.

If we want to fast in rajab, can we fast on Friday?

My mom has issue of kidney stones due to which she is unable to fast the complete Ramadan since 6 yrs. Also before that she didn’t make up for the fasts missed due to mensus. We decided to give kuffara for the fasts missed due to mensus. Should we give kuffara for the fasts missed due to the stone problem? Does my mom come under those exempted from fasting as doing so causes pain
