It is not permissible to take medication that would intoxicate you. Therefore, if the amount of alcohol intoxicates if consumed a lot of it, this is not permissible.

If truly your illness needs the combination of some amount of alcohol mixed with something. If no alternative at that moment or because of the urgency, is it allowed taking it as medication.
