He continue until the Imam offers salam and then he stands to complete the missing.

If one gets only 2 last raka’ats in a congrigational 4 raka’ats prayer, does he completes the tashahud(tahiya) or he stops as does in every first tashahud since the last two raka’ats are his first two raka’ats in this case.

Sheikh, i was reading shaikh al-bani(may allah have mercy on him)prophets’s prayer(peace be upon him).he was of the view that one should place his hands on the chest and said that it is not permissible to place hands below navel or the navel but i saw many imams like shaikh abu baker shatri who leads prayer at la-fourqan masjid in jeddah and many imams who place their hands below navel or navel.shaikh is both sunnah or one is right and one is wrong?
