 If my father’s wealth is mixed (both haram and halal), is it permissible for me to help him in doing his income taxes?

Our neighbour’s husband expired recently in an accident. She is left with 2 children who are still studying & there is no financial support to the family. She will get 15000 OMR as blood money. Since there is no monthly income for her can she keep this money in bank and use the bank interest on monthly basis to raise her children. Is this acceptable?

My husband rented a flat and is renting it out to friends when they come to visit the country for holidays. The flat owner knows this and he is ok with it. The rental contract my husband signed with the flat owner says do not rent it out. Now is it a sin on his part to re rent it to friends although the owner do not mind?
