If this ever happens, such Jihad is needed.

 If, in the future, an Islamic nation ever gets more advanced than the kuffar in terms of military service, number and technology, then will offensive jihaad become mandated upon that nation against those people who revile the Prophet (salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam), if the ruler thinks it to be fit? Or is it not necessary?

Recent attack on french magazine office, can it be taken as jihad? As its mentined in hadith iman has 3 levels. If you see something wrong, either stop it with hands or speak out and stop it verbally or the least is just to pray in the heart . So going by this logic, I feel its correct.. Please explain.

Is there any difference of opinion with regards to the permissibility of killing the one insults Muhammad (salla  Allahu alayhi wasallam) by a normal person like me? I don’t intend to do so. I always thought it was Haram for us and only the ruler can do so. But someone said to me that some scholars have allowed it so I need to make sure.
