ANSWER:

You should do sujood as sahu for this mistake and should do it after salam and do another set of salam after sujood as sahu.

Sujood As Sahu (Prostrations of Forgetfulness)

If I say only “at-tahiyat” then realize I am supposed to go 2nd rak’ah then I go immediately to 2nd rak’ah while saying allahu akbar, do I need to offer sujud as-shau? If yes, is it after or before salam? Is it correct to say allahu akbar again or just stand up and start 2nd rak’ah?
