If i list an item online but i dont have the item with me but im only listing the item to see if anyone is interested and before making any type of deal or contract with anyone i will buy the item then start accepting overs is this hallal ?

Pls advise if a person promotes a halal product online but the website works such that the customer clicking on the persons link may purchase an alternative possibly haraam product on the same site for which commission is earned – is this business impermissible? Unfortunately this type of sale would be out of the control of the person who is advertising on behalf of seller.
