It is permissible for you as a traveler to do this but it is not permissible for your wife who is residing not to fast so that you can have intercourse. This is forbidden and she would be sinful for doing this and if intercourse takes place, she would be obliged to pay the expiation for that which is fasting 2 consecutive months.

If i am travelling back home during ramadhan then I called the night before and told my wife not to fast the next day which I will arrive. And because I will arrive during day time and that I will be in need of retreating with her in bed, is alowed?
