First you need to repent to Allah and do not repeat it again. You can make up this day after Ramadaan as soon as possible before fasting 6 days of Shawal.

How am I supposed to know if I gained taqwa this Ramadan as the whole purpose of the month is to gain taqwa? Alhamdullilah I am confident that I can do more ibadah after Ramadan compared to before Ramadan. But I’m not sure how much my heart changed. It goes up and down. Should I use my amount of ibadah as a gauge to measure if my taqwa went up or should I look at my heart?
