No! You can’t go around policing people!

if a non muslim in a street is swearing or having a cigarette is it my duty as a Muslim to tell him that swering is wrong or smoking is wrong?

Please tell me if I say anything incorrect. I’m in America. I have enmity, hate and disavowel for every non muslim. What I’m confused about is al wala wal bara and what rights are to be given to the non muslims in regards to this doctrine. Also what about the hadith of pushing them to the edge of the road?Can we smile at a non Muslim? Be kind to them? Is this ever alowed? Or should we be rude?

I went for a trip with my friends in India. We visited a historical temple over there. There was a long queue, and i was pushed inside. I reached the inner chamber and my friend told me to wave my hand over a lighted candle and touch my chest. This was their act of worship. All this happened in a split sec. and I didn’t even think. I just did it to show my respects. How should I perform tawbah?
