This is not bidah, if she does it for no specific reason.
If she did it because she firmly believed that it must be done every time she reads the Quran, this could be an innovation. But if she does it because she wants to be in the best of shape when reciting the Quran, this might be permissible.

Brother, can I read quran in periods,or just last 3 suras?

Before sleep we have to recite the 3 Quls and Surah Mulk? Does it matter which of these is read first?
