It is an issue of dispute among scholars whether it is mandatory to recite the Fatiha after the Imam in loud prayers or not.

The most authentic opinion is that it is not mandatory but it is highly recommended.

Therefore, if an Imam goes to the Ruku position and a person didn’t have enough time to recite the Fatiha, he should cut it and follow the Imam as the recitation for the Imam was sufficient for him as well.

I would like to know if when one is following the imam in a congregational prayer one has to recite fatiha? and if yes what if you dont finish the fatiha and the imam goes for ruku.
