O you who believe! Endure and be more patient (than your enemy), and guard your territory by stationing army units permanently at the places from where the enemy can attack you, and fear Allah, so that you may be successful.”

Scholars say that the first instruction is to be patient over calamities and over doing what Allah has commanded us to do and to stay away from what Allah has commanded us to stay away from.

The second instruction it to be more patient and this is referring to staying steadfast on being patient and continuing this and also to resist the enemies of Islam.

The third is about being at the frontline when there is no fighting and some said that it is referring to the 5 daily prayers as it has a reference in the hadeeth of the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam when he mentioned that staying in the masjid awaiting the following prayer.

I will like to know the meaning of the last verse of surat Al-Imran. Because if I am not mistaking allah commends us to do 3 things before he says ”and fear Allah, so that you may be successful” (3; 200) Does he commends us to be patient twice ?
