……….. Ali bin Abi thalib RA and Usamah bin Zaid RA, Ali RA suggested that Rasulullah,Salla Allahu alaihi wasallam, to ask to one of his women slave named Barirah. But when Barirah came,according to this book it written that Ali RA hit her hard and said “Speak the truth to Rasulullah SAW!”. My question is, is that true that Ali RA hit her HARD ? Is that true He RA hit Barirah because she is a slave ? Please Clarify this ?

She wasn’t a slave at the time as she was a free woman and Ali wouldn’t dare hitting an innocent woman, let alone in front of the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam.
