ANSWER:

If the gold is in your possession then you are obliged to give zakat by selling some of it.

I was married few months ego.all my gold was given by my father n mother in law.but my husband didnt give me anything.now he is not in a condition to give zakat.so is it must for us to give zakat? I dont want to get burn in jahannam.how should we do?
