Shirk means to associate something or someone to Allah in worship, and an example could be making dua to someone else other than Allah, or believing that something or someone else can protect you or harm you other than by Allah’s will.
Kufr means disbelief, and an example of that could be for instance to reject ayas from the Quran or reject the existence of angels or Devils.

I wanted to know the difference between Shirk and Kufr. Also, an example of each would be very beneficial for my understanding.
