This is baseless. She can marry any Muslim, whether a sayed or not.

Otman Ibn Affan married two of the Prophet’s daughters and he was not a sayed.

However, you should make sure that she is not following the aqeedah of Barelvi sect.

I want to marry a girl who claims to be from a “SYED” family. They belong to the Barelvi section. I am not a syed & her father says that this marriage is HARAAM.. Sheikh can u guide me?? Any source relating to this marriage??
