It is not part of the masjid and people pray in it as they pray outside in the open area due to the rows are connected.

I read somewhere that saai area is not part of the mosque and I also see people praying in the congregation, is this all part of the mosque?

I was in saudi arabia couple of years back and during friday prayer they gave just around 2 minutes break in between two adhans.when i inquired about this they told that there is no forbidden times for prayer on fridays and we can pray the sunnah prayer

We will inshaaAllah be travelling by train in india. our journey will b about 12 hours. during this time how should we pray because there will no place for standing and praying? also how should we determine the qiblah?
