I live in the UK and here the time for magrib during ramadan is 9:30pm and suhoor by 2:30am. I read an article that countries that have long days can fast according to the time of the nearest muslim country. Is that correct. Or should we fast according to the country we live in.

You fast according to your country that you live in as you have a sunset and a break of dawn.
