No problem in this if you don’t have the option of current account and if there is no Islamic bank in your city.

And if you get any interest from it, it’s haram money and you must dispose this off to poor and needy Muslims in order to cleanse your wealth, without anticipating any reward for it. You cannot benefit from it nor buy gifts for your family and friends with it.

I live in Sydney Australia. I am using Bank account here. When we save money into the account, they pay some percentage of interest fee to me. I have asked them not to pay me that amount, but they say they can not change it. Here, every Bank has the same policy and its the necessity here to use the bank account.
