ANSWER:

This is not true. The prayer is valid but one is sinful.

Wearing the abaya on top of it covers it but one shouldn’t be owning such clothes, let alone wearing it in the 1st place. 

I know that your prayer isnt valid if you are wearing a shirt that has any drawing of a person on animal on it, but what if my scarf or abaya covers the shirt. Will my prayer be accepted?
