ANSWER:

This is not obligatory in a loud rakah, even if you joined the imam after he finished reciting the fateha.

I know that as a follow in loud prayer you don’t have to recite Fatiha, but what if you join the rakah a bit late when the imam had already finished the Fatiha, is it a must in this case to recite it or it is still optional ?
