ANSWER:

If this ointment doesn’t form a layer(which is most likely possible) and it absorbs into the skin and it does not block the water from reaching the skin, you don’t need to rub and your wudu would be valid. However, it is advisable that your perform wudhu first and then apply it. 

 

I have small patches of vitiligo.I have to put ointment in night.So before taking wudu i have to remove the ointments by rubbing.My parents say don’t rub that portion it will spread vitiligo.I told if not rubbed water will not reach.But my parents angrily telling if you rub that portion your salah will not accept because you are disobeying.What I do?I am in a mental tension.How salah will be valid
