ANSWER:

It is totally prohibited for a woman to take part in such so called charity which includes many sins such as free mixing and traveling without a mahram.

I have many friends who travel to poor countries for charity work to distributed aid. This is mixed however they have the best intentions. I would really like to go as this would be life changing for me however there will be times where we would have to share vehicles with the opposite sex and also travel together. I feel like I’m not doing enough and want to go.
