Try to have her pray with you for a few weeks. This way, she will learn by example. She must recite the Fatiha in every rak’ah and say the supplications in the Ruku and sujood once at least. If she is unable to recite the Fatiha, she can say subhana Allah wal hamdu li Allah wa Allahu Akbar wa li ilaha illa Allah, throughout the prayer.

I have been trying to teach my mother how to pray, but it is very difficult as she has no form of education islamic tr otherwise. She can not remember many things and she gets mixed up with what i try to teach.And she doesnt undastand and has no fear when i tell her about the grave or hereafter or hell. How can I distill this in her mind and heart, so she realises the importance of islam in this life. also can you tell me what is the minimum she needs to do, to complete her fard prayers.
