ANSWER:

No need to talk to non mahrams and seek their forgiveness as this is prohibited. 

Just repent sincerely to Allah and never go back to that again. 

I have backbiten many non mahrams and non muslims.Mostly I don’t remember their names or I am not sure if I have backbiten them in the past or not.So what should I do about this? Can I talk to non mahram to seek their forgiveness for backbiting? Alhamdulillah I have stopped backbiting from now on.

I have a friend that has rude behavior towards people even though he has good intentions. Also whenever we hang out he often backbites. I tried hinting at his behavior but he’s a lot older than me and not the type that likes to be corrected. Now I try to avoid him and ignore his calls. Is this permissible? As this is the best solution I can think of.
