Yes, there is a hadeeth proving it exists. It is a cold that people are tortured with which burns and harms them just like fire does.

I have a question about the cold section named “Zamhareer” in Jahannam. Place in Hell where you get punished with extreme cold. I have heard about it, but without any reports on the authenticity. Is this true? Are there any reports on whether that is authentic, weak or fabricated?
