You shouldn’t listen to your mother when she orders you to leave your aunt. She has no right and it is not permissible for you to obey her even if this causes her to leave you because Allah ordered you to connect to your aunt.

You have no right none what so ever to raise your voice or to say bad things to your mother no matter what she does to you. You have to block her out and not listen to her when she shouts or curses as if she is not speaking and as if you are not hearing her. When you try to respond to her abuse, this causes you to feel depressed and wanting to retaliate. This is not permissible as it is one of the major sins in Islam.

I have a mother who is extremely stubborn and aggressive towards me.Whenever I do something and it’s not the way she wants it done she has a go at me and when I do it the way she wants me to, i’m still wrong.I am a 19 year old student.my father left my mother when she was pregnant, I have no siblings, I have no job or income so I live at home, I have an aunty she would look out for me but my mum does not get on with her and I would have to choose between my aunty or my mum so I lose one for the other.
