I said it’s imposibble because we live in a country that doesn’t use Islamic law. She commited zina, she has a husband but her husband lived in another city. (I don’t mean to expose my friend’s sin but I don’t know how to explain it). If shariah law can’t be done, what does she have to do? if she repents, asks Allah forgiveness, is that enough? and what are the signs that Allah forgives her sins?
…………………………………………

You have committed a major sin and have betrayed your husband’s trust.

Never the less, Allah is most forgiven and merciful. Whenever His servants sin and come to Him in repentance, He will forgive them.

It is not advisable to expose oneself to such punishment (stoning) as long as Allah is forgiving. That is why our Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam turned his face 4 times from the man who confessed of adultery.

You must have deep remorse over what you had done and ask Allah to forgive you. If you start to do well and get committed to Islam and practice more, this is a good sign that Allah has accepted your repentance.

And Allah knows best

I have a friend that commited big sins, and she is very desperate now. She regrets it but she asked me if she had to be thrown by stone till death
