Indeed it is an innovation and it is baseless.

I have a book that has Allah’s name, meaning and different application, for eg Al-Muqit, below the name is written that who ever recites the name into glass of water, and give the water to a bad mannered child to drink, he will have good manners. Same is with all the names, so is it an innovation?

I have been looking in Sheikh ibn Uthaymeen’s Al-Qawaa`id Al-Muthlaa to find name Al-Badi but I couldn’t find it but in surah Baqarah 2:117 بَدِيعُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَإِذَا قَضَى أَمْراً فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ mentioned ‘Badi’ based on this Can I affirm Al-Badi as a name of Allah?

Is it Kufr that some Muslims say that Allah CANNOT die or CANNOT oppress, as Allah says He is All-Capable? In a website, I saw that the writer wrote that it is not permissible to say “CANNOT” because it sets a limit to Allah’s Capabilities. They say that rather one should say “He DOES NOT oppress and not that He CANNOT because He can oppress.”
