ANSWER:

You must not accompany them at any cost. Make some excuses or plan something different for yourself on that day.

I don’t visit shrines myself but my paternal family do so and at times they force me to accomply them . What is the rulling on this ?Is it still sinful if we are forced to go there?

My husband believes in praying through the taben, tabe-tabaiyn etc. According to him, jus like we ask each other to remember us in prayers, he believes in asking them who have been great muslims to pray for him to Allah.
