Your daughter is not a Mahram to the boy! If you were to get married, the girl must live with her father or be totally separated from the boy.

Your future children are Mahram to both.

I am divorcee with a 10 year old daughter. I got a proposal from a pious and practicing man (also a divorcee). He has a 17 year old son. The proposal is good, however, we were only considering, will my daughter and his son be Mahram to each other after our marriage? If not, do you suggest for this marriage to take place, since his son will live with us? Also, if we do get married and I bear children and if they are females, will they be Mahram to his son?
