Yes as this opens the door to fitnah and Satan is always in anticipation to strike at the weakest moment. You must lower your gaze and not interact with non mahram females unnecessarily. 

I am currently in High School in America. For a math class I had a non Muslim Catholic teacher who is a woman. I don’t have her in class anymore but I go and visit her frequently and talk to her about Islam and why I love it. And I try to understand why she loves her religion. I want her to convert so I make tons of Du’a and go and give her Dawah. Am I sinning by going and seeing her?
