The most authentic opinion of scholars that reciting the Fatiha when praying behind an Imam in loud prayers is recommended but it is not mandatory. This means that it is best to recite it but if one doesn’t do that, his prayer is still valid.

I am confuse in a matter,some times I recite Surah Fatiha behind the Imam and some times remains silent, I don’t know what is right
