I know that the hair that grows on cheek, cheekbones and chin are counted as beard. But what about the hair that grows on the neck. There are some hairs that have came on my neck. They have come unevenly i.e. many have came on the left but some on the right. Now I want to know whether is it permissible for me to cut the ones on the left. It looks awkward. Should I cut it?

It is permissible to shave or to cut short the hair that grows on the neck as it is not part of the beard.

I am a sixteen year old boy and my beard has started to grow and I have intended to keep a beard as it is Fard to keep.
