ANSWER:

It’s not permissible to take or keep pictures of the deceased. There is no problem in taking photos of a cemetery or a graveyard. 

I always see people taking pictures of graves or them visiting the grave. Sheik isn’t this wrong to take pictures of the deceased you know and the others buried around them?

I have heard a hadith that status of a deceased person is elevated by praying of his son. In this regard what we have to pray. As my father has passed 4 years back, I just want to know what i have to do Or pray, so that my fathe’s status gets elevated and his sins be forgiven. I am his daughter. And is this only for sons?
