Zakat is due on any amount of savings that a whole year passes and it exceeds the value of 595 grams of silver. Therefore, if you give the 25% to the needy and you intend that it is part of your zakat, you don’t have to pay anything after that. But if you don’t intend it as zakat, you must give 2.5% as zakat.

How much i earn from there i keep 25% for needy,50% for family members and rest 25% for myslf,so now do i have to gv zakat From my savings,if yes then how much for one million.
