This is innovation .Intention is done in the heart.When you want to eat an apple in front of you, you simply intend it without saying in your mind “I want to eat this apple”

How does one make intention for salah and wudhoo in his heart? I am an urdu speaking Muslim, is it right if I speak the niyyah that (for example) “Am offering 2 raka’ of fard prayer of fajr for the sake of Allah, forgive me for my sins” and then raise my hand for Takbeer?
