I have heard man who goes for routine job for earning is one kind of ibadah.. and if he dies during work is Martyr.. my brother died in accident returning home from Work earning for family whole heartedly ..What are the rulings?

Shiekh I always believed there is no subconscious mind. We have one mind. And Shaytan puts bad thoughts in our mind which we have to fight with the Quran and Sunnah. However, my Muslim friends say that there is a subconscious mind and that belief should come from there. I am confused. Should I ignore this talk or does Islam say something about the subconscious mind?
