This is the Hanafi school’s way of praying it as they report this through Abdulla Ibn Mas’soud, but this is not the most authentic way. Praying behind such a person is valid as he is doing what he thinks is correct and he is following one of the companions of the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam.

Hanafi madhab has a different form of eid prayer -instead of 7 takbir in first rakah and 5 takbir in second they have 3 in each rakah and in the second rakah the takbir is before ruku and not in the beginning of the rakah..is this an accepted sunnah?
