Missing obligatory prayers is a major sin that may mount to kufr, and fasting ramadan is not a kaffara for missing these prayers, but one must repent sincerely, not to miss prayers in the future and to do lot of good deeds.

Even after I have become a practising Muslim, I have missed a great deal of fard Salah, especially Fajr. I have repented sincerely that I’ll never miss it anymore, and yet, I find myself falling back to it again. I’m aware that this is a major sin. Will fasting Ramadan properly expiate this particular sin completely?
